Habitat for Humanity Lake County prides ourselves on meeting the highest standards of financial transparency, integrity, and accountability. 82 cents of every dollar goes directly to supporting our program costs—building affordable homes, neighborhood revitalization projects, and providing financial literacy and other workshops for our neighbors.
Homeowners pay back a 0% equivalent interest mortgage over 30 years and all mortgage payments are reinvested into our programs. Proceeds from the ReStore also provide funding for our life-changing programs. The majority of the financial support comes from the generosity of individuals, businesses, and foundations.
