Home sponsorships are critical to our mission. Our programs help to restore hope, break the cycle of poverty, build generational wealth, and ensure more children grow up in a stable, healthy home where they can truly thrive. Your sponsorship not only benefits a family in Lake County, but your team will strengthen their bonds while building on a construction site and knowing they are creating something tangible that will last for generations.

Our programs help to restore hope, break the cycle of poverty, build generational wealth, and ensure more children grow up in a stable, healthy home where they can truly thrive. You will see the impact of your contribution and feel the satisfaction of knowing that impact will last for generations.
Habitat’s mission is to bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope and we achieve this by providing pathways to affordable homeownership. Habitat Lake County provides a 0% interest mortgage with a term adjusted to make monthly payments affordable for families. We work with every homebuyer to ensure they understand their mortgage forms, can access down payment assistance, and answer any questions about their closing. Habitat Lake County homebuyers contribute at least 500 hours of sweat equity as they prepare to purchase their homes. These hours of preparation include volunteering at build sites, working at our ReStore, and classes on financial literacy, understanding their mortgage, debt reduction and credit repair, home maintenance, and more.
Your investment will provide the necessary funds to continue to build new homes and support our Family Services department which facilitates mortgage services and homebuyer education.

Our sponsorship levels relate to the financial commitment made toward the construction of an individual home. Volunteering is optional, but we would love to have you on a build site! Your organization or group can choose how much, if any, volunteer time you would like within the guidelines below. We can create an experience tailored to you!
