Habitat for Humanity Lake County is thrilled to launch NextGen Build, a new initiative that invites young people from all corners of Lake County to step up, take the lead, and shape the future of affordable housing in our community. Through this transformative three-week Build event, we aim to harness the energy, passion, and innovation of young leaders to support families on their journeys to homeownership.

The NextGen Build isn’t just about building homes; it’s about building leaders. As a participant, you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your leadership skills, creativity, and commitment to equity by:
- Building Homes: Roll up your sleeves and work side by side with fellow young leaders to construct homes from the ground up. Your hands-on involvement will not only provide tangible support to families in need but also demonstrate your dedication to creating a more equitable community.
- Raising Awareness: Leverage the power of your social networks to raise awareness about the importance of affordable housing and the impact of Habitat for Humanity Lake County. Share your experiences, insights, and progress online, sparking conversations and inspiring others to get involved.
