Round Lake Community Build

Tuesday, April 9 – Saturday, April 13

For the first time in our organization’s history, Habitat Lake County is bringing our mission of affordable homeownership to Round Lake, offering an opportunity for local families to establish roots, thrive, and contribute to the vibrant tapestry of this wonderful community!

The Power of Homeownership

Homeownership has a profound impact on individuals, families, and entire communities. Beyond providing a roof over a family’s head, homeownership fosters a sense of pride, belonging, and empowerment. As families invest in their homes, they also invest in the well-being and prosperity of their neighborhoods, creating a ripple effect of positive change—an effect we are excited to see extend into the Round Lake community.

How You Can Make a Difference

  • Volunteer: We would love to host your business, civic organization, or family & friends on our Round Lake Build site! Roll up your sleeves and be a part of history as we come together to build homes from the ground up. Whether you’re a seasoned builder or a first-time volunteer, your time and effort make a tangible difference in the lives of others. There are individual and group opportunities available.

Can’t make this build? We would still love to have you! Please visit our Volunteer Opportunities page or contact us at [email protected] for individual and goup volunteer opportunities.

  • Donate: Every contribution fuels our mission to provide affordable housing solutions. Your support enables us to purchase materials, secure permits, and turn blueprints into reality.
  • Spread the Word: Share the excitement and invite friends, family, and neighbors to join us in this monumental endeavor. Together, we can inspire others to lend their support and become champions of change in our community.
